Lee is the friendly face behind our Queensland plumbing directory. With a practical outlook and an appreciation for the people who keep things running, Lee understands that finding the right person for a job shouldn't be complicated. He's a firm believer in keeping things straightforward, asking the right questions and making useful information easy to find. Lee enjoys connecting people with local businesses and helping Queenslanders navigate the sometimes frustrating process of finding reliable services. When he's not keeping the directory organised, Lee enjoys getting outdoors, tackling the occasional DIY project and making the most of Queensland's laid-back lifestyle. His approach is simple: keep things honest, useful and easy for everyone.

Why this directory exists

Finding a plumber in Queensland usually means a search full of ads, lead forms that sell your details to whoever pays, and review sites that only show the businesses that signed up. I wanted something simpler: every reviewed plumber in the state, the suburb they work from, what they say they do, and a phone number you can ring yourself.

So Queensland Plumbers starts from public records rather than paid sign-ups. A basic listing is free for every plumber, whether or not they ever hear from me. Each business's own website is read for the services it offers, and when a plumber says nothing about a service, the listing says that too instead of guessing.

I do not check licences, and I would rather say so than imply it. Look any plumber up on the QBCC licensee register before you book them. If something on a listing is wrong, tell me and I will fix it.

How listings are vetted

Businesses that turned out to be supply stores, civil contractors or other trades filed under plumber were taken out by hand. Leak detection and gas fitting specialists stay, because people looking for a plumber often need them.

This directory does not check licences or insurance. Before you book anyone, look the business up on the free QBCC licensee register.

Right now that is 1,113 plumbers in 142 Queensland suburbs, last refreshed 2026-10-20.

Owners can claim their listing for free. Every claim is checked by a person: a real local business, a matching email domain or a call to the number on the Google listing. Paid placements are marked as featured, premium or best-of wherever they appear.
