Gas work is the whole focus at Gasco Services, a family owned gas fitting business established in 1988 and based in Ashmore. It covers the Gold Coast, Logan and the southern end of Brisbane, installing and repairing cooktops, stoves, ovens, heaters, fireplaces and gas hot water units for any brand running on natural gas or LPG. Its licensed gas fitters use gas leak detection equipment to locate and repair leaks, test appliances, carry out gas conversions and issue compliance certificates. Beyond homes, it works on commercial premises, caravans and motorhomes, boats and food vans, and has been a preferred gas fitter for RACV Royal Pines. Failed hot water units get a 24 hour callout service. Ben, who runs the trade side, is a licensed plumber, drainer and gas fitter.
