Chris started Parrot Plumbing in late 2020 after eight years as the plumber for a kitchen renovation company, and the Ormiston business now serves homes across South Brisbane. Domestic maintenance, renovation plumbing and gas are its focus. Renovation work covers bathrooms, kitchens and laundries, including rangehood ducting and refrigerator plumbing. Day-to-day jobs take in leaking taps, broken drain repairs, burst pipes, gas and electric hot water systems, roof leaks and rainwater tanks, and Chris is qualified for gas fitting as well. Before Parrot Plumbing, Chris spent nine years in another line of work, from 2004 to 2013, before moving into the trade. The business aims for neat, functional work that lasts, charged at a fair price, and every job is meant to meet industry standards.
